On September 19th, 600 people filled the Galleria ballroom to support the life-saving work of Cobb Pregnancy Services at our annual fundraising banquet.  This year featured a panel discussion that laid out the abortion battle and where we need to go as a pregnancy center to meet the challenges ahead. Mr. David French, the Senior Counsel for The American Center for Law and Justice, Mr. Jay Watts, author and speaker from Life Training Institute, and Pastor John Ensor, the President of Passion Life Ministries brought their own expertise and perspective to the discussion. “I was surprised by what I did not know and feel a sense of responsibility to act after hearing the panelists speak”, commented a member of the audience.

The theme of the 2013 banquet was “The Future Is In Our Hands”.  Along with testimonies of former clients, the program pushed the need for Cobb Pregnancy Services and other pregnancy centers serving in areas with high abortion rates to adopt a strong medical clinic model that directly competes with abortion and Planned Parenthood clinics who are attracting the same group of women.

Funding a vision that would include expanded medical services, mentoring programs, and a new professional medical facility is urgently needed.  Donations from the event will help to fund the organization’s operation.

We appreciate everyone who attended and gave so generously!

Mark your calendar for September 19, 2013, because this year’s banquet will be like no other! Cobb Pregnancy Services will feature representatives from Life Training Institute and The American Center for Law and Justice who will engage the audience in a compelling discussion about the negative impact abortion has had on our culture. As experts in their field, our speakers will lay out how the future may look for the pro-life movement with the new healthcare system. We will look back on how effective we have been and specifically what pregnancy centers in high abortion areas must do to stay relevant.

As a member of the audience, you will have the opportunity to add to the discussion and ask questions that give us all a better understanding of how to fight against a worldview that is turning its back on LIFE.

The conviction of abortionist Kermit Gosnell and revelations about the deceptive practices of Planned Parenthood have opened a window of opportunity to spread a pro-life message that people will listen to. God is preparing us to have a greater influence on the hearts and minds of a new generation.

You are a vital part of the frontline battle that is fought at Cobb Pregnancy Services every day, and we need you. Please join us for an evening that promises to give us hope that there will be a day when abortion will become UNTHINKABLE!

Eighth annual Walk for Life, behind Grace Community Church Come walk, support the cause.

We want to thank everyone who helped make the 2013 Walk for Life a big success. As we write this, pledges and donations are still coming in. Based on previous years experience, we estimate we will finish with between $70,000 and $75,000. Please remember to patronize our Corporate Sponsors that are shown below whenever you can use their services. We want to spotlight Christ Presbyterian who graciously hosted us this year as we changed venues to increase our visibility in another part of our community. All the folks at Christ Presbyterian were great to work with and went the extra mile to make the walk successful.

A special thank you to our staff, volunteers, walkers and their sponsors that made this chilly morning warmer and brighter for Cobb Pregnancy as we go into the lean months of summer. Your prayers and partnership allow us to continue to stand up for the rights of the unborn.
